The terms under which you purchase from and use the Caviar of Switzerland website. Please read these before placing an order.
Last updated: 1 June 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through caviarofswitzerland.com and apply to all customers, regardless of location.
1. Company Information
caviarofswitzerland.com is operated by Caviar of Switzerland GmbH, a company registered in Zug, Switzerland. By placing an order, you enter into a contract with Caviar of Switzerland GmbH as the seller. For all enquiries: hello@caviarofswitzerland.com.
2. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock availability, or suspected fraud. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the full amount within 3 business days.
All prices shown on the website are in Euros (EUR) inclusive of Swiss VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice, but the price displayed at the time of order placement is the price you will be charged.
3. Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and additional payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your card details. All transactions are encrypted via SSL.
In the event of a failed payment, your order will not be processed. Please ensure your payment details are correct before confirming your order.
4. Shipping and Delivery
All orders include free worldwide tracked shipping. Estimated delivery times are provided on the Shipping & Returns page and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, carrier disruption, or events outside our control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery. If a shipment is lost in transit, please contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We will investigate with the carrier and, where the shipment is confirmed lost, issue a replacement or full refund.
5. Returns and Refunds
You have the right to return any product within 30 days of delivery, no questions asked. The full return process is described on our Shipping & Returns page. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3 business days of receiving the return.
EU and UK customers also have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our 30-day policy exceeds this statutory minimum.
Products that have been used beyond reasonable trial use may be refused for a change-of-mind return, but will always be accepted where the return is due to a product defect or our error.
6. Product Descriptions and Claims
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, ingredient lists, and efficacy claims on this website are accurate and substantiated. All clinical statistics are referenced to independent third-party consumer panel studies. Where a claim refers to a study, the study parameters (n-size, age range, duration) are disclosed.
Skincare results are individual and depend on skin type, age, application consistency, and other factors. Results published from clinical studies represent the study population and may not reflect your individual experience.
Ingredient lists on the website are provided for information and transparency. Please always refer to the product packaging for the definitive, current INCI list, as formulations may be updated.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, design, brand assets, formulation information, and copy — is the intellectual property of Caviar of Switzerland GmbH and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Caviar of Switzerland GmbH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of the order in question.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law. For EU customers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply regardless of this choice of law. Disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement may be referred to the competent courts of Zug, Switzerland, or — for EU consumers — to the courts of your country of residence.
EU customers may also access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that purchase. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered account holders before taking effect.
